Overview

Southbay's newly remodeled 10,000 square-foot waterfront Clubhouse overlooks the Southbay Marina.  It houses the Association Office, Ballroom, Fitness Center, Card Room, Library/Meeting Room, and a general purpose social space adjacent to the Pool and Patio.  Located at 1400 Southbay Drive, the Clubhouse can be entered using a key fob between the hours of 5:00 AM - 11:00 PM. Owners may obtain key fobs at the Association Office.
 

Association Office

The Association Office is located off the entrance lobby of the Clubhouse.  Office hours are Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.  The Association Manager, Toni Michel, can be reached at 941-966-4237 or at sbyrc1400@gmail.com.  Documents may be left in the locked drop box located outside the Clubhouse entrance when the office is closed.
 

Ballroom

A large Ballroom, featuring seating for 99 people, with a catering kitchen, dance floor, adjoining restrooms, and a breathtaking view of the Marina, is located on the third floor.  The Ballroom may be rented for private parties by Owners.

Fitness Center

A newly renovated and enlarged Fitness Center offering a range of aerobic and strength-training equipment is available on the first floor of the Clubhouse for Owner use.  The Fitness Center is open during regular Clubhouse hours.

Card Room

A new card room, offering a stunning view of the Marina, is located on the top floor of the clubhouse.  The card room is used for regularly scheduled bridge, mah jongg, and poker play. Times of regularly scheduled play can be found on the Community Calendar.  At all other times, the card room is available for use by residents on a first come first served basis.
 

Library/Meeting Room

A Library/Meeting Room is located on the top floor.  The room is available for use by residents on a first come first served basis when not already reserved on the Community Calendar.  A number of paperback and hardcover books, including children's books, are available in the room for checkout on the honor system.  Donations of suitable books by members are encouraged.  Donated and returned books should be placed in the basket provided.
 

Pool and Patio

A geothermal-heated community pool, children's pool, and patio adjacent to the Clubhouse are provided for the benefit of Southbay Owners.  Patio chairs, tables, and lounges are provided.  A pool restroom, accessed using a key fob, is available for the convenience of pool users.  All guests must be accompanied by an Owner.  The pool area is open for use between 5:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
